Robin Thicke Arrested For Marijuana

Robin Thicke

R&B singer, Robin Thicke, was arrested in Manhattan for marijuana possession.  The award-winning R&B crooner was arrested  by patrol officers who saw him smoking a joint while sitting in a Cadillac Escalade near 3rd Ave. and E. 21st St., close to Gramercy Park.

“He wasn’t driving,” a police source said. “He was sitting in the car. He was arrested and a small amount of marijuana was recovered on him.”

Thicke, 34, was in the Escalade with another person, the police source said, but Thicke was the only one arrested and then charged with possession of marijuana.  The singer was amiable throughout the arrest, another source said.

“He was taking pictures with the cops,” the source said. “They were coming over to him and getting autographs.”  It wasn’t clear where Thicke was heading, though he did provide police with a lower East Side address.
