In Augusta Maine, last Saturday, medical marijuana smokers held their first ever trade show and festival. This is a big step for Maine’s marijuana users moving forward. The trade show was held at the Augusta Civic Center. The medical marijuana care givers were given permission to use marijuana in tents outside the Civic Center. There was a mere thin tent wall separating the smokers from the Civic Center’s parking lot.
The permission was granted from the police and District Attorneys office of Maine. Some of the smokers used a vaporizer to smoke through during the show. Indoor growing equipment was also displayed in certain booths. This is the first time the native Maine population has ever been able to legally smoke in public. Just another step towards American marijuana legalization.
